a recording studio?

Our music space is called "The Playroom".

A versatile space designed for recording, jamming and having as much fun as possible, as quickly as possible while getting top quality recordings.  

The studio is designed to help you stay in your flow state and away from the mouse and computer. 

Revel in the sheer delight of the creative process. 

The equipment is expertly curated to be inspirational but accessible, so you don't need to be an expert to enjoy yourself or to create something you'll be proud of and if you do have questions we'll be there to help you all the way. 

Yutori is a Japanese word that expresses the idea of spaciousness, ease, and unhurried living. 

At its core, it means creating room—whether in time, space, or mindset—so life is not rushed or overcrowded. 

Our space and our lifestyle is designed to share our Yutori experience.

We are also fascinated by the idea of frictionless living.  Optimisation of flow within a space to maintain a greater sense of connection with your moment of Yutori. 

Indeed!  We have started Yutori Records as the home of our own creations.

We have an in-house artist collective supergroup called They/Them which is a light hearted invitation to collaborate with absolutely anybody and maybe create the biggest and most diverse band in history!

Walk in off the street and lay down a sick trumpet or guitar or Bouzouki riff over one of the tracks?  It will likely be released under the They/Them artist name, featuring your artist name and giving you a % of the proceeds. 

The label and studio is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, flexible and 

as always, frictionless. 

Yes and no.  We are not running an exact retreat program, but the famously chilled island of Ikaria and our life here provides a form of retreat to all who visit.  

We exercise, we cook, we chill and we create.  You're invited to join or to lead in any of these activities. 

We do strongly encourage very limited telephone and social media useage to maximise the disconnection from everyday life. 

We are a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a groovy music studio, kitted out BBQ & Beer Garden and a comfy roof terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. 

We rent 2 of the bedrooms in our shared space, so it can be considered a hosted island music studio & BnB experience.

We also provide airport and port transfers along with some local driving as part of the package.  Less for you to worry about!
